Job summary

ScionHealth in California is seeking a registered nurse to support the orange county float pool across Santa Ana, Brea, and Westminster hospitals. You will provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and other care team members.

Expect involvement in discharge planning and continual patient assessment. The role requires state RN licensure, BLS at hire, ACLS preferred, and a willingness to work in a float pool.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary nursing program graduation required.
• RN license in state of practice required upon hire.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver nursing care following the assess; plan; intervene; evaluate process.
• Document care plans and patient data in medical records.
• Administer medications following five rights and safety checks.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing supervisors, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient/family education.
