Job summary

Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA is seeking an experienced RN for its Acute Care Float Pool. You will work across Medical/Surgical and Telemetry, supporting patient care and coordinating with multiple clinical teams during busy daytime hours.

The role emphasizes broad exposure to diverse patient populations and a focus on collaboration, education, and clinically growing within acute care. Eligible for enhanced sign-on and relocation benefits.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in the state of practice.
• BSN in Nursing preferred.
• BLS certification. ACLS is unit dependent.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care across units during admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Collaborate with physicians, care managers, therapists, and nursing teams.
• Engage in interdisciplinary rounds and patient education.
• Deliver safe, evidence-based care and update care plans as needed.
• Maintain currency of clinical competencies for the assigned unit.
