Job summary

MaineGeneral Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool Team. This 36-hour/week position covers day shifts (6:45am - 7:15pm) with weekend/holiday rotation and competitive differential pay.

Active Maine RN licensure or the ability to obtain it promptly is required. We value cross-training across departments and ongoing professional development within a supportive, patient-centered system.

Qualifications

• Active Maine RN licensure or ability to obtain in a timely fashion.
• At least 1 year of RN experience required.
• Willingness to cross-train to multiple departments and competencies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on assessment.
• Monitor and communicate patient status; coordinate with care team.
• Delegate care to ancillary staff and may precept students or new hires.
