Job summary

Baldwin Health is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) for 3x12 hour night shifts on weekends (Fri-Sun), 7pm–7am. The RN coordinates and delivers patient-centered care, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality outcomes while supporting patients and families.

The role requires administering medications, monitoring equipment, and responding to emergencies with adherence to infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience required.
• RN license required (AL).
• BCLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Knowledge of the nursing process, patient assessment, and safe patient care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care in line with protocols and nursing processes.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects; document care.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes to care team.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in CPR and code team activities as needed.
• Maintain infection control practices and ensure patient safety and comfort.
