Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
• Must have at least two (2) year full time equivalent Acute Care RN experience

Responsibilities

• Assess, evaluate, plan, implement, and coordinate a treatment plan for patients
• Maintain accountability for assigned patients and respond to Code Blue as needed
• Manage patient flow, screening, exam prep, and admissions
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
• Maintain and review patient records, post tests and results
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians
• Check rooms daily for supplies and respond to telephone calls
