Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: ADN or higher.
• Must be licensed as an RN in the state where you practice or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
• Current BLS required (AHA/Red Cross Health Care Provider).
• At least two years full-time equivalent Acute Care RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accountability for assigned patients.
• Respond to Code Blue and initiate protocols and cardiac monitoring.
• Manage patient flow including screening, exam prep, general nursing care, testing and admissions.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patient records, posting test results.
