Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Competent to perform in at least two general areas of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs under supervision.
• Observe patients' progress and relay reports to Registered Nurse or medical staff.
• Obtain and record vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests.
• Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
• Measure intake/output and assist with range of motion; assist with blood draws.

Education
