• Ability to recognize and respond to emergent patient care situations while waiting for assistance.

Aufgaben

• Uses glucose monitoring to obtain readings and reports deviations to health care staff.
• Performs phlebotomy and collects blood samples as ordered.
• Collects stool and urine samples as ordered and runs point-of-care urine pregnancy tests.
• Performs EKG for chest pain and other indications as instructed by RN.
• Maintains 1:1 observation and safety monitoring for patients with mental health needs.
