Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a part-time Float Pool Nurse for Med/Surg/Tele units. The role supports patient placement and staffing with a flexible shift and 84 hours in a 6-week schedule.

Reporting to the Director of Patient Placement Staffing, you will plan and manage care, educate patients and families, and ensure safe, high-quality care. Requirements include a BSN (MSN preferred), active RN license in MD or compact state, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of acute

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a BSN degree.
• MSN preferred.
• Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification (issued through the American Heart Association)
• At least 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting required for float pool nurses.
• Must have availability to work 84 hours in a 6-week schedule.
