Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Germantown, MD is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse (Part time, Day shift) to deliver patient‑centered care in Surgery as part of an interdisciplinary team. The role requires adaptability, strong clinical skills, and the ability to quickly acclimate to different clinical environments while applying the nursing process and educating patients and families.

Minimum qualifications include ADN with BSN preferred, Maryland or Compact RN license, BLS (AHA), and at least 2 years

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; ADN required, BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State.
• BLS certification (AHA); additional Life Support training as unit requirements.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process and education for patients and families.
• Communicate patient/family information effectively to the health care team.
