Job summary

Frankfort Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Float Pool Nurse to provide direct patient care across units in Kentucky. You will apply nursing knowledge to assess patient needs, administer medications, monitor vitals, and document care in the EHR system.

The role requires RN licensure in TN, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and at least 2 years of clinical experience; ICU experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure with Tennessee Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• ICU RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess plans and evaluate patient care needs; carry out physician orders.
• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, cleanse wounds, monitor vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition using computerized systems.
• Educate patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary care planning team.
