Job summary

Crest Healthcare Group is seeking Float Pool Nurses (RN/LPN) to support skilled nursing facilities across Southern and Central Illinois. The role requires LTC experience, PCC expertise, and willingness to travel between facilities, including night shifts.

You’ll float to multiple communities, delivering high-quality resident care and coordinating with clinical teams. Flexible scheduling and the chance to gain diverse facility experience are key benefits, with compensation at $55/hour for LPNs

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN or LPN license required.
• Previous LTC or skilled nursing experience required.
• PointClickCare (PCC) experience required.
• Must be willing to work night shifts as needed.
• Reliability with travel up to 1.5 hours from home (and up to 2 hours when needed).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents within your scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation using PointClickCare (PCC).
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes appropriately with the care team.
• Support residents with dignity, compassion, and professionalism.
• Float between facilities based on current staffing needs.
• Maintain high standards of resident care and safety.
• Adapt quickly to different facility environments, teams, and workflows.
• Collaborate effectively with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Perform additional nursing duties as assigned.

Crest Healthcare Group is seeking experienced and dependable Float Pool Nurses (RNs and LPNs) to support our skilled nursing facilities throughout Southern and Central Illinois.

We're looking for nurses who are comfortable stepping into different skilled nursing environments, adapting quickly, and providing high-quality resident care. For this opportunity, candidates must have previous long-term care (LTC) experience and experience using PointClickCare (PCC).

Our greatest current staffing need is on night shift, so candidates must be willing to work nights as needed. This regional float pool position also requires travel between facilities based on staffing needs.

Who We're Looking For

• Current Illinois RN or LPN license
• Previous long‑term care (LTC) or skilled nursing experience required
• PointClickCare (PCC) experience required
• Must be willing and available to work night shifts as needed, as nights are currently our greatest staffing need
• Reliable transportation and willingness to regularly travel up to 1.5 hours from home
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 2 hours when additional coverage is needed
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
• Dependable, flexible, and team‑oriented
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively with different teams and facility environments
• Passion for providing compassionate, high‑quality resident care
