Qualifications

• RN licensed as a Registered Nurse (state license required).
• 1 year of medical-surgical experience required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s condition during admission and at each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes in status.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, document care, and act on adverse events as needed.
• Provide compassionate care, respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve issues.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow-up steps; translate complex medical terminology to ensure understanding.
