Ideal candidates have 2+ years CNA experience, current CNA certification, and BLS/CPR. Knowledge of medical terminology and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role within a large health system.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• 2 years of recent CNA experience.
• Current BLS (CPR) required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Monitor Tech experience preferred or completion of dysrhythmia for monitor techs course within 90 days.
• Completion of unit secretary course or equivalent healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Follow unit standards of care and the hospital policies of Corona Regional Medical Center.
• Assist with patient comfort, safety, and basic needs as part of the float pool CNA responsibilities.
