Job summary

Thunder Bay Community Health Service, Inc. seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join as a Float Primary Care Provider. The role covers patient care across multiple Michigan locations, providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat, order tests, and develop plans while collaborating with physicians and care teams. BLS is required; Michigan NP/PA license and DEA registration are essential. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current Michigan NP or PA-C license and DEA registration.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• A team-oriented, flexible provider who is comfortable working across multiple clinic locations.
• Experienced providers and new graduates with pending certification encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages.
• Float between clinic locations to support providers and care teams as needed.
• Assess, diagnose, treat, and help patients manage their overall health and wellness.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Evaluate and treat urgent and emergent medical conditions when necessary.

Thunder Bay Community Health Service, Inc. (TBCHS) is looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team as a Float Primary Care Provider!
In this unique and rewarding role, you’ll provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to patients of all ages while supporting our clinic teams across multiple locations. Whether you’re helping cover a colleague’s absence, stepping in during a busy time, or providing care where the need is greatest, you’ll play an essential role in keeping our communities healthy.
