Froedtert Health MCW Community Physician Network seeks a Primary Care Float Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Float to several primary care clinics in southeast Wisconsin, bringing at least two years of family practice experience. Requires APRN or PA certification, Wisconsin RN license, and DEA registration.

Compensation is experience-based with a starting hourly rate of $53.96. Position can be 0.75–1.0 FTE.

Qualifications

• Two years of primary care experience as a family nurse practitioner or physician assistant preferred.
• Master’s in nursing required; graduate of an accredited APRN program.
• Current Wisconsin RN license or multi-state license under NLC; APNP certification required.

We’re currently recruiting a Full Time (0.75-1.0 FTE will be considered) Primary Care Float Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide coverage across primary care clinics in south Milwaukee and nearby areas. A minimum of two years of primary care experience as a family nurse practitioner or physician assistant is highly recommended as this role requires floating between multiple clinic locations. Compensation is experience based with a minimum starting rate of $53.96 per hour.

The Froedtert Primary Care practice is very collegial, collaborative, and consultative with exceptional support staff. The Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin Community Physician network is a partnership between Froedtert ThedaCare Health and the Medical College of Wisconsin supporting a shared mission of patient care, innovation, medical research, and education.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred.
• A master’s degree in nursing is required. Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner program is required.
• Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
• Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing is required.
• Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) is required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required upon hire.
• Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration are required or must be eligible to obtain.
• Bachelor's degree in physician assistant studies is required.
• Current State certification as a PA; current DEA.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required upon hire.
• Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration are required or must be eligible to obtain.
