UPMC is seeking a Float Physical Therapist to work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM in the North Pod. No weekends, no holidays, and no on-call required. New graduates are welcome and training is offered to the right candidate.

The role involves evaluating patients, creating individualized treatment plans, and educating families to improve mobility and function across diverse patient populations. Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and opportunities for ongoing education and career development are

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on patient progress
• Document patient care, treatment outcomes, and discharge planning
• Communicate patient status with physicians and the healthcare team
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants
• Provide home exercise programs and patient/family education
• Rotate through treatment areas as needed
• Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and professional development
• May serve as a clinical instructor for PT students and residents
