Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our Fort Wayne, IN team. This full-time role performs blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods across age groups, travels to multiple sites, and supports data entry and billing processes.

You will provide compassionate customer service and maintain accurate specimen logs while adapting to a variety of patient settings. The position requires phlebotomy experience or certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience or certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Minimum age 21 and ability to travel as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Handle administrative duties as required.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
