Job summary

Labcorp in Burlington, NC seeks a Float Phlebotomist to join our team. Work schedule: Monday–Friday with hours that vary between 6:00am-6:00pm and rotating Saturdays.

This role involves venipuncture across ages, specimen handling and data entry, plus travel to other sites as needed. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; a phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis; maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
