Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Greensboro, NC. The position involves varied rotations across sites with early mornings and overtime potential. You will collect samples, enter data, process billing, and ensure accurate patient records.

This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, teamwork, and flexibility to travel as needed. A phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency is preferred if no work experience is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
