Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. The role involves traveling to multiple sites, collecting specimens by venipuncture, and maintaining patient records with accuracy.

You will work a schedule that includes a Monday–Friday pattern with some Saturdays, provide exceptional customer service, and participate in incentive programs. Labcorp offers comprehensive benefits consistent with a large healthcare employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification from accredited agency acceptable in lieu of experience.
• Strong customer service skills and reliable communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient data accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis; maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
