Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our Oklahoma City area team. This role involves venipuncture and capillary collections across age groups, specimen processing, data entry, and occasional travel to multiple sites within Oklahoma City and surrounding rural areas.

A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required. The position includes a travel-friendly schedule with weekday coverage, potential overtime, and weekend rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience assisting patients across age groups (pediatric to geriatric) preferred.
• LabCorp experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed; reliable transportation required.
