Job summary

Labcorp in Oklahoma is hiring a Float Phlebotomist to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques across Owasso, Bartlesville, Broken Arrow and Sapulpa. Schedule is Monday–Friday 5:30AM–7:30PM with rotating weekends. Travel to additional sites as needed and provide friendly, accurate service to patients.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and phlebotomy experience; certification preferred. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
