Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to cover Santa Monica-area sites, performing venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages. You will ensure proper specimen handling and documentation while delivering superb patient care.

Applicants must hold a California CPT license, high school diploma or GED, and demonstrate strong customer service and teamwork. Travel to additional sites and a valid driver’s license are required, with benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• California state Phlebotomy CPT license required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification/training from an accredited agency acceptable if meeting standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to additional sites when required.
• Be at least 21 years old; valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis; maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
