Job summary

Labcorp, a global leader in laboratory services, seeks a Float Phlebotomist for Greenville, NC. The role involves venipuncture across all ages, specimen collection, and accurate data entry. You will travel to multiple sites as needed, ensuring top-tier patient care.

Expect a varied schedule, with 6am–6pm shifts on weekdays. A high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy training are required, plus a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency or prior phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
