Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Walnut Creek, CA. The position includes blood collections, specimen processing, data entry and travel to additional sites. The role offers a quarterly incentive program and a flexible schedule.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a California CPT license; 1+ year phlebotomy experience is preferred. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT).
• 1+ years of phlebotomist experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collecting payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
