Overview

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support mental health pharmacy operations across the greater Portland Metro Area, including Oregon City, Portland, Hillsboro, St. Helens, Salem, McMinnville, and Sandy. This role involves dispensing prescriptions, clerical duties, and supporting pharmacy functions under supervision.

Hours & Location

Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm PST. Coverage area includes sites in multiple cities around Portland.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Fill prescriptions and verify under pharmacist supervision.
• Order, receive, and store pharmacy supplies.
• Process wholesaler medication orders.
• Maintain inventory records.
• Assist in pharmacy operations and compliance.
• Perform clerical duties.
• Communicate professionally.
• Manage expenses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

• Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician license.
• 1+ year pharmacy technician experience.
• Reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license.

Preferred:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• 3+ years pharmacy experience, including long-term care, MAR, bubble pack, retail, and float experience.
