Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a PRN Community/Retail Pharmacy Technician Float to support our pharmacy team. Float locations will be Hardin, Hardin Pavilion and Bardstown.

The role involves assisting with prescription filling and dispensing, order entry, patient updates, labeling, and point-of-sale transactions, as well as medication delivery and inventory tasks under pharmacist supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency is required.
• Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• If not currently registered, registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy will be required before or on the date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist and Manager with patient-centered service in the Community Pharmacy.
• Filling and dispensing prescriptions, computer order entry, updating patient information, labeling, and transactions at the point of sale.
• Deliver medications to discharging patients as requested by the Pharmacist.
• Conduct prescriber outreach for prescription refills under supervision.
• Assist in coordinating home delivery and inventory management.
