Position Overview: We are seeking a Float Pharmacy Technician to support Genoa mental health pharmacies. The role involves dispensing prescriptions, clerical duties, and supporting pharmacy operations under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST

Location: Main site at 24424 West McNichols Road, Detroit, MI 48219, with travel to other sites in Saginaw, Lapeer, Southgate, Southfield, Redford, Lincoln Park, Clinton Township, and Pontiac, MI.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff
• Fill prescriptions and prepare them for verification under pharmacist supervision
• Order, receive, and store pharmacy supplies
• Process wholesaler medication orders
• Maintain inventory records by verifying stock and entering data
• Assist in pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• Perform clerical duties related to pharmacy operations
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Michigan
• At least 2 years of recent pharmacy technician experience
• Reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license for site travel

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
