We are hiring immediately for full-time FLOOR TECHNICIAN positions.

Location: Detroit Receiving Hospital - 4201 Saint Antoine Street, Detroit, MI 48201. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; days and hours may vary, including rotating weekends and holidays. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Two years of prior floor refinishing experience required.

Pay Range: $18.10 to $19.60 per hour.

Job Summary

Floor Technician responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance principles and proper procedures including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for large floor surface cleaning.
• Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning including shampooing, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Conduct maintenance and restorative processes for all floor types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
