Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Float Pharmacist to provide professional pharmacy services across Michigan locations, including Detroit. The role involves high travel, 40 hours per week guaranteed, and clinical duties such as immunizations and patient counseling.

Required are a PharmD or Bachelor's in Pharmacy, MI license, immunization certification, and willingness to cover as PIC if needed; LAI training may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in the state of Michigan.
• Immunization Certification Certificate.
• Willingness to cover temporarily as PIC if needed.
• Willingness to complete LAI training and administer LAI.
• Able to work 40 hours/week.
• Driver's License and Car Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Distribute drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provide information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focus on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administer immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Perform any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
