Job summary

Genoa Healthcare in Florida is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our team and manage prescription processing with a focus on patient care and service excellence.

You will distribute medications, provide detailed medication information to customers, and ensure compliance with state pharmacy laws while potentially administering immunizations as allowed. This role requires a Florida license and a PharmD or equivalent degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in Florida.
• Immunization certified or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation.
• Willing to work in Tampa FL, Lakeland and Winter Haven FL.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
