Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, in the Phoenix area seeks a Float Pharmacist to provide pharmacy services across multiple sites. This per diem role involves distributing medications, counseling customers, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You must hold a PharmD or BS Pharmacy, AZ pharmacist license, and immunization certification (or willing to obtain within 3 months). Travel up to 50% and a valid driver\'s license are required.

Qualifications

• BS Pharmacy or Pharm D
• Current AZ pharmacist license
• Immunization Certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire
• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable transportation
• 1+ years of Pharmacy experience

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties
• Travel up to 50%
