Job summary

AMR is hiring Float Paramedics in the United States to deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency medical care across multiple locations. This full-time role offers a salary range of $57,200–$69,212 per year depending on experience and certifications.

You will respond to 911 calls, lead on-scene operations, drive the ambulance, and coordinate with allied health and public safety personnel, with KS/MO paramedic certifications and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Paramedic certifications required in KS and MO.
• BLS and ACLS certification required on hire.
• PALS preferred but not required.
• Valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best action using Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize equipment (defib, EKG, oxygen, suction, IV fluids) for advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to explain care being provided.
• Lead the Paramedic team and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
