Job summary

The County Federal Credit Union is hiring a Full-Time Float Teller to service our three branches in Penobscot County, with travel to Howland, Old Town, and Bangor required. The successful candidate will provide excellent member service, handle account transactions, and promote our products and services.

This position emphasizes strong communication, accurate cash handling, and teamwork within a busy branch network.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Willingness to travel to multiple branches in Penobscot County (Howland, Old Town, Bangor).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service by welcoming members and assisting with account transactions.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments and other cash/check transactions with accuracy.
• Promote and cross-sell CU products and services to members.
• Maintain balancing procedures and uphold service standards.

The County Federal Credit Union is seeking a positive, ambitious individual to join our team as a Full Time Float Teller to service our 3 branches in Penobscot County (travel required to Howland, Old Town & Bangor!)

The Float Teller is a critical position within the system and an important member of the branch network. The Float Teller provides excellent member service by welcoming new and existing members of the Credit Union and assisting them with account transactions and servicing needs.

Tellers are responsible for promoting our products and services to all members, processing member transactions (deposits, withdrawals, payments and other cash/check transactions), to ensure transactions are processed accurately and efficiently within our balancing procedures, and to provide exceptional member service. Must have great communication skills. This position involves continuous standing and/or walking.
