Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Float Medical Receptionist for the Regency Centre clinic to support patient-centered care on the outpatient team. The role reports to the Center Administrator and is integral to our clinical support staff, ensuring smooth daily operations and accurate patient interactions.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling visits, maintaining records, and processing copays while supporting TB screening efforts as part of our preventive health programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in a healthcare setting preferred; strong customer‑service experience in retail, hospitality, or call centers also considered.
• Screened for TB if selected for this role.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in person and over the phone.
• Schedule appointments, manage appointment calendars, and coordinate visit scheduling with medical staff.
• Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure patient accounts are updated correctly; collect copayments at the time of visit when applicable.
• Support the TB screening program by participating in required TB screenings.
