Job summary

The Surgical Clinic (TSC) in Middle Tennessee is seeking a Float Medical Assistant to support patients and physicians across multiple clinical settings. This travel-friendly position requires adaptability and a positive attitude to ensure high-quality patient care across locations.

You will triage patients, obtain vital signs, collect specimens, document in the EHR, and coordinate imaging or surgeries as needed while maintaining sterile technique and effective communication with the care team.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or Medical Assistant license preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records (eClinicalWorks preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in clinical settings to ensure patient care.
• Triage patients and assist during in-office procedures.
• Obtain vital signs and document results.
• Collect, label, and document lab specimens.
• Document patient care in the EHR.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of patient areas.
• Coordinate referrals, imaging, labs, and surgeries as directed.
