Job summary

Upperline Health is seeking an energetic Medical Assistant to support physicians across our Orange, Newport Beach, and Santa Ana clinics. The float MA will handle clinical and administrative tasks, including rooming patients, taking histories, vitals, and assisting with X-rays as required.

Ideal candidates have podiatry or orthopedic experience, EMR proficiency (Athenahealth preferred), and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Experienced Medical Assistant preferred.
• Podiatry or Orthopedic clinic experience preferred.
• X-ray experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Place patients in exam rooms and prepare them for physician visit.
• Complete intake and review medical/social history.
• Record vitals and EMR documentation.
• Assist in exam room and take X-rays as needed.
• Perform daily administrative tasks and restock rooms.
• Sterilize exam and X-ray rooms after use.
• Coordinate care for Upperline Plus patients.
• Outreach to coordinate ongoing preventive care.
• Travel to nearby clinics if needed.
