Upperline Health is hiring a Float Medical Assistant to support physicians in our Orange, Newport Beach, and Santa Ana clinics. You will perform clinical tasks, take vitals, assist in exams, and help with x-ray procedures as needed.

Ideal candidates have CMA certification, experience in podiatry/orthopedics, and strong communication skills to coordinate care and ensure patient comfort throughout visits. This role requires travel between nearby clinics and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or currently pursuing certification.
• Experience in a podiatry or orthopedic clinic is preferred.
• Familiarity with x-ray procedures is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in clinical and exam room duties.
• Take vitals and document in athenahealth EMR.
• Perform basic x-ray and patient positioning under supervision.
• Support administrative tasks and care coordination within clinic.
• Travel between Orange, Newport Beach, and Santa Ana clinics as needed.
