Job summary

Oak Street Health seeks a Float Medical Assistant to join our patient-centered care teams across community clinics. You will greet patients, room them, take vital signs, and support providers with visits and exams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Medical Assistant role.
• CPR Certification required.
• Medical Assistant certification or registration required; over 5 years may substitute.
• EMR experience required.
• Spanish/Polish/Russian language skills preferred where needed.
• US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and assist providers to keep schedules on track.
• Greet patients, prepare them for visits, and support clinical workflow.
• Record vital signs, chief complaints and medications.
• Perform waived tests and assist with procedures under RN guidance.
• Order supplies and maintain clean, safe exam rooms.
• Support telephonic patient care and participate in team meetings.
