Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Idaho seeks a Full-time Medical Assistant within the Clinical Support Team to support multiple clinics across the Treasure Valley. The float role provides variety, exposure to acute and ambulatory care, and opportunities to learn different service areas under physician supervision.

Applicants must have MA certification within 90 days of hire, either CMA, RMA, NCMA, or other Saint Alphonsus approved agencies, plus a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• MA certification required within 90 days of hire.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required at hire.
• New Graduates: MA certificate of completion or 1 year MA experience in lieu of externship hours.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required at hire.
• MA certification must be from Saint Alphonsus approved agencies.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment to promote a positive patient care experience with compassion and kindness.
• Perform duties under the Medical Assistant scope of practice based on clinics' needs.
• Support and work under supervision of Physicians/Advanced Practice Providers; clinical oversight by RN Supervisor and SAMG Nursing Administration.
• Support efficient clinic flow alongside Providers, Clinical Support and Front Office staff, communicating accurately with team members.
