Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant for the Clinical Support Team as a Float across Treasure Valley clinics. The role offers variety, working within the Clinical Support Team and learning multiple service areas and specialties.

MA certification is required within 90 days of hire, with CNA not counted toward MA certification. The position requires 40 hours per week, day shift, and a supportive team environment managed by RN Supervisor and SAMG Nursing

Qualifications

• MA certification required within 90 days of hire from approved agencies.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required at hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment to promote a positive patient care experience with compassion and kindness.
• Perform duties under the Medical Assistant scope of practice based on clinics' needs.
• Support and work under the supervision of the Physician and/or Advanced Practice Provider.
• Help ensure efficient clinic flow alongside Providers, Clinical Support and Front Office staff.
