Job summary

Solis Mammography is seeking a Float Mammography Technologist for PRN coverage across Dallas/Fort Worth centers. The role requires valid Texas Medical Board license, ARRT Mammography certification (or eligible), and completion of a two-year radiologic technology program.

CEU requirements and experience with stereotactic biopsies are preferred. This position offers varied hours between 6:15am-5:00pm, typically 2-4 days per week, with a patient-centered focus and opportunities to contribute to

Qualifications

Texas Medical Board License - TMB.
Current ARRT Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.
Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.
Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate x-ray equipment and perform mammography-related diagnostic procedures with high accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.
Provide services and support for patient education about the role of mammography in breast health and overall care.
Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and other staff to ensure quality patient care.
Maintain a patient-first focus and deliver outstanding customer service.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
