Job summary

The Pavilion Management Company, LLC in Dayton, Ohio, is seeking a Float Director of Nursing (DON) for a full-time role. The DON will oversee nursing staff, ensure high-quality and compliant services, and lead strategic staffing and development across the facility.

This leadership position requires a nursing degree, at least three years of supervisory experience, an active RN license, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must have a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of three years of supervisor experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related facility.
• Current unrestricted RN license in practicing state.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, and regulatory guidelines for long-term care.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and direct the Nursing Services department and programs per laws and regulations.
• Interpret policies to staff and monitor practices.
• Participate in admission decisions.
• Attend management meetings to discuss census, resident changes, complaints.
• Evaluate staff performance and enforce disciplinary actions per policy.
• Contribute to QAPI and performance improvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
