Job summary

AHL HealthCare Group is hiring Float Direct Support Professionals to train and work at multiple programs across Duluth and surrounding MN towns. This part-time DSP position offers weekly scheduling with mileage reimbursement and higher compensation based on the program.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, supporting residents, medication administration, documenting services, and accompanying clients to appointments.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• 1 year of experience working in the field.
• Ability to pass a MN DHS background study.
• Every other weekend availability required.
• Driver's license and ability to pass MVR check is a requirement for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal cares, activities of daily living, grooming, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
• Demonstrating positive and supportive behavior with the clients and coworkers.
• Medication administration.
• Documenting on the services provided daily in the electronic records and computer system.
• Socializing with residents and doing activities with them.
• Going to appointments with clients.
• Training in at all programs and filling in based on the schedule of the program.
