Job summary

AHL HealthCare Group is hiring Float Direct Support Professionals to train and work across our Minnesota programs, including Duluth, Hermantown, Two Harbors, and Saginaw. This part-time DSP role travels among sites and offers higher compensation plus mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living, medication administration, documenting care in electronic records, and supporting residents through activities and appointments.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1 year of experience in the field.
• Able to pass MN DHS background study.
• Must have a driver's license and pass MVR check.
• Available every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, grooming, cooking, cleaning and laundry.
• Demonstrate positive, supportive behavior with clients and coworkers.
• Medication administration.
• Document services daily in the electronic records system.
• Socialize with residents and participate in activities.
• Accompany clients to appointments.
• Train in various programs and fill in per schedule.

AHL HealthCare Group is hiring Float Direct Support Professionals that will train and work at each of our programs!

AHL HealthCare Group is seeking extraordinary, kind, and compassionate people who can act as an advocate, supporter, educator, and caregiver to individuals with disabilities or mental illness as a Direct Support Professional (DSP). Our homes are in Duluth, Hermantown, Two Harbors, and Saginaw, MN, and are 4-bedroom residential settings centered around the individuals we support. Our most important goal is to provide services to enrich and empower the lives of our residents to live happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives and our DSPs are crucial in achieving that goal.

Float DSPs travel among our various programs and receive their schedule on a week-to-week basis and are responsible for filling in at programs based on scheduling needs. With this comes a higher compensation and mileage reimbursement!

• $20.00- $21.00/hour depending on program worked at

Typical Job Duties
