Job summary

AHL HealthCare Group is seeking Float Direct Support Professionals to train and work across our Minnesota programs, assisting individuals with disabilities or mental illness with daily living, medication administration, and social activities.

Float DSPs travel among programs, receive a week-to-week schedule, and benefit from higher compensation plus mileage reimbursement as they support residents in Afton and Woodbury day and evening shifts including awake overnights. Join our caring team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in the field
• Must be 16 years or older
• Ability to pass MN DHS background study
• Every other weekend availability required
• Driver's license and ability to pass MVR check
• Working mobile phone during availability/scheduling window

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal cares, daily living activities, grooming, cooking, cleaning and laundry
• Demonstrate supportive, positive behavior with clients and coworkers
• Medication administration
• Document daily services in electronic records
• Socialize with residents and participate in activities
• Attend appointments with clients
• Train in all programs and fill in based on scheduling needs

AHL HealthCare Group is hiring Float Direct Support Professionals that will train and work at each of our programs!

Float DSPs travel among our various programs and receive their schedule on a week-to-week basis and are responsible for filling in at programs based on scheduling needs. With this comes a higher compensation and mileage reimbursement!

Compensation:

• $20.00- $21.00/hour depending on program worked at
• Mileage reimbursement

Location:

• Afton
• Woodbury

Hours of Position:

• Part-time
• Day shift OR
• Evening shift OR
• Awake overnight shift

Typical Job Duties:

• Assisting with personal cares, activities of daily living, grooming, cooking, cleaning, and laundry
• Demonstrating positive and supportive behavior with the clients and coworkers
• Medication administration
• Documenting on the services provided daily in the electronic records and computer system
• Socializing with residents and doing activities with them
• Going to appointments with clients
• Training in at all programs and filling in based on the schedule of the program

Requirements:

• Must be 16 years or older
• 1 year of experience working in the field
• Ability to pass a MN DHS background study
