Job summary

AHL HealthCare Group is hiring Float Direct Support Professionals to train and work at each of our programs in Minnesota. Float DSPs travel among our programs with a week-to-week schedule and earn $20.00-$21.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement.

This part-time role is based in Annandale and requires weekend availability, a valid driver's license and the ability to pass a MN DHS background check. Responsibilities include helping with daily living activities, medication administration,

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the field.
• Must pass MN DHS background study.
• Availability every other weekend is required.
• Driver's license and ability to pass MVR check.
• Working mobile phone available during scheduling window.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal cares and daily living activities.
• Demonstrating positive and supportive behavior with clients and coworkers.
• Medication administration.
• Documenting daily services in electronic records.
• Socializing with residents and participating in activities.
• Accompanying clients to appointments.
• Training in all programs and filling in per schedule.

AHL HealthCare Group is hiring Float Direct Support Professionals that will train and work at each of our programs!

Float DSPs travel among our various programs and receive their schedule on a week-to-week basis and are responsible for filling in at programs based on scheduling needs. With this comes a higher compensation and mileage reimbursement!

Compensation:

• $20.00- $21.00/hour depending on program worked at
• Mileage reimbursement

Location:

• Annandale

Hours of Position:

• Part-time
• Day shift OR
• Evening shift OR
• Awake overnight shift

Typical Job Duties:

• Assisting with personal cares, activities of daily living, grooming, cooking, cleaning, and laundry
• Demonstrating positive and supportive behavior with the clients and coworkers
• Medication administration
• Documenting on the services provided daily in the electronic records and computer system
• Socializing with residents and doing activities with them
• Going to appointments with clients
• Training in at all programs and filling in based on the schedule of the program

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience working in the field
• Ability to pass a MN DHS background study
• Every other weekend availability required
• Driver's license and ability to pass MVR check is a requirement for this position
• Working mobile phone to be reached at during availability/scheduling window
