Nawa Professional Services is seeking a dependable Float Custodian to support multiple school sites in the Fruitport area. This part-time/partial-coverage role offers immediate start with paid training and flexible second shift coverage; weekend event shifts may occur.

The position emphasizes reliability, ability to travel, and strong communication with supervision. Full-time transitions can occur during school breaks, with competitive benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license; ability to travel between school sites during shift.
• Must pass motor vehicle records check and federal background check; drug screening including THC.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and able to work independently with strong reliability and communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties at multiple locations as assigned.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and remove trash; clean and sanitize restrooms and common areas.
• Restock supplies as needed; operate cleaning equipment (training provided).
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and follow site procedures.

**Nawa Professional Services is seeking a dependable Float Custodian to join our team in the Fruitport area! We have part-time opportunities in a school setting with an immediate start. No prior experience? No problem! Paid training is provided!
We are currently looking for a dependable Second Shift Mobile/Float Custodian to provide coverage and support throughout the Fruitport area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a change of pace and is comfortable working at different school sites.

Monday–Friday, primarily second shift. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including occasional weekends for school event setup and teardown. During school breaks, the position may transition to a first-shift schedule.

Pay Rate: $17

Responsibilities:

• Perform custodial duties at multiple locations as assigned
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and common areas
• Restock supplies as needed
• Operate cleaning equipment (training provided)
• Communicate regularly with supervisors
• Other cleaning tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, valid auto insurance, and ability to travel between job sites during shift
• Ability to pass a motor vehicle records check
• Ability to pass a federal background check and drug screening (including THC)
• Ability to submit fingerprints for authorization to work in schools
• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to work independently while maintaining quality standards
• Strong communication and reliability
• Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
