Job summary

RadNet is seeking a Float CT Technologist to join their team in Towson, Maryland. You will perform high-quality radiologic and CT exams, ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, demonstrates excellent communication skills, and has the necessary state certifications, including MD licensure and BLS.

Qualifications

  • State regulations necessitate MD state licensure and ARRT (R)(CT) certifications.
  • BLS certification required.
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Float CT Technologist you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21 st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators achieve the best clinical outcomes.

Schedule

Monday- Friday 7:00am-7:00pm with 8 hour shift. A $5 shift differential applies after 5pm.

You Will
  • Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
  • Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize s patient discomfort or medical problems and take s appropriate action.
  • Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
  • Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Required Certifications and Experience
